Math AIGet the app

The photo never leaves your phone

Photograph a maths problem, get the steps

Math AI reads the equation on your device, then works through it a line at a time — so you can see where your own attempt went wrong, not just what the answer was.

Free to use, five solves a day.

A solved problem, showing the working one step at a time

Three taps, and the working is on screen

  1. 01

    Photograph the problem

Point the camera at a textbook, a worksheet, or your own handwriting. Or pick a photo you already have.

  2. 02

    Your phone reads it

Recognition runs on the device. The equation gets sent for solving; the photo never leaves your phone.

  3. 03

    Follow the working

The answer arrives with the steps that produced it, so you can check where your own attempt went wrong.

Built so there is nothing to leak

Most homework apps upload your photo to a server and promise to look after it. This one recognises the problem on your phone and sends only the equation it read — around forty characters of text.

That is not a policy we could quietly change later. There is no image upload in the app at all, which is also why a solve comes back quickly rather than after a few megabytes finish uploading.

Read the privacy policy
  • No photo upload

Recognition is on-device. There is no endpoint that accepts an image.

  • Small requests

A solve sends a line of text, so it works on a weak connection.

  • No tracking prompt

Free accounts see ads. We do not ask to track you across other apps.

  • Delete on request

Email dogukanalig@gmail.com and your account and its history go.

What it looks like

Screens from the current build — nothing here is a mock-up.

  • The home screen with a photographed problem, 2(x + 3) = 14, ready to solve

    Photograph the problem

  • A lesson playing an animation of three quarters being split into eighths

    Lessons that animate the maths

  • A finished topic scoring eight out of eight, with diamonds earned

    Watch the streak build

And a course, for when the answer is not the problem

Fifteen units from fractions to functions, each broken into short lessons with worked examples and a quiz. Adapted from OpenStax, so the maths has been through editors and classrooms rather than straight out of a model.

Pricing

Every tier gets the whole Learn course and full step-by-step working. Paying raises the daily solve limit and removes the ads.

Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and renew until cancelled. Prices shown in USD; your store charges in your own currency.

Questions

Does it work on homework I have to show working for?
That is the point of it. Every solve returns the intermediate steps, not just the answer, so you can compare them against your own working and find the line where it broke.
What happens to the photos I take?
They stay on your phone. The app reads the equation on-device and sends only that text — a few dozen characters — to be solved. There is no image upload, so there is no image to store, leak, or hand over.
Is there a free version?
Yes. Five solves a day and the whole Learn course, supported by ads. Pro and Max raise the daily limit and remove the ads.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Any time, from your Apple or Google account settings. Cancelling stops the renewal and you keep the paid tier until the period you already paid for runs out.
How do I get help?
Email dogukanalig@gmail.com. A person reads it, usually within two working days.
